Sexual Health Services

We offer the following forms of contraception

• Oral contraceptive pills
• Injectable contraception

We can advise on all other forms of contraception including sterilisation and can refer you to services locally that can offer this.

We also advice on emergency contraception and the emergency pill - if you need this service please tell our reception staff when you ring us. We will of course respect your confidentiality but it allows us to make sure you see or speak to one of the doctors or nurses within 24 hours. 

We also offer testing for STIs including chlamydia and HIV.

There are a number of Sexual Health Clinics available locally that offer walk in services if this is more convenient.
